Special Trailer Tires in Size ST205/65-10

Question:

I need 205/65-10 tires for a snow mobile trailer. You list that size in a weight range C which is what I need but I believe my wheel width is 7inch and the item says for 6inch wide rims. Can I use the 6inch tires. Thanks.

A special trailer tire in size ST205/65-10 can mount only to a rim/wheel that is 10-inches in diameter and 6-inches wide. We offer this tire size in four load ranges, including E-rated tires good for up to 1650-lbs at 90-psi pressure like # AM3H480. All tires and wheel/tire combinations in this size are shown on the linked page.

We recommend you select a tire load range that provides some safety margin over the actual load on the tires. This will help avoid overheating and subsequent tire damage, as will maintaining proper inflation pressure and observing the tire rated speed. Overloading, incorrect inflation and excessive speed are then three most common causes for trailer tire failure.
