Trailer Hitch and Wiring for a 2015 Mazda CX-5 to Tow a Small Trailer
Question:
What is the best hitch for my 2015 Mazda CX-5? Im needing something that will be able to pull a small trailer.

All of the available trailer hitches for the 2015 Mazda CX-5 will be able to handle a small trailer. Going with a Class III hitch though will provided you with a sturdier hitch so I recommend going with a Class III.
A popular Class III option for your CX-5 is Curt hitch # C13315. It is rated for 600 pounds tongue weight and 4,000 gross trailer weight but limited to the capacities of the vehicle specified in the manual. I have linked a video showing an example installation for you.
Since you plan on doing some towing I also recommend etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK4. It comes with a ball mount with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop, interchangeable ball set, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag. If the ball mount kit does not have the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, use the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
And for trailer wiring you can use # 118563 to add a 4-Way flat connector to the rear of the vehicle. I have included links showing example installations of the hitch and wiring for you.
