Compatibility of Thule Interstae Cargo Bag # TH869 on Factory Roof Rack of 2010 Acura MDX
Question:
Just a comment about MDXs. The 2010-2011 factory installed crossbars are at preset positions, where they are only about 29 apart. probably too small to handle this bag nicely. To move them you need a couple of torx drivers. Im not sure Acura recommends this.

I contacted our representative and she informed that you can install the Thule Interstate Cargo Bag, part # TH869, to crossbar spreads that are less than 40 Inches. To do so, you would secure the straps to the crossbars and the side rails and then drape the bag over the rear crossbar.
You will want to consult your vehicles owners manual or your Acura dealer to see if moving the crossbars is acceptable or recommended by Acura.
