My 2012 ford explorer has the factory two package with 7 pin connector where is the factory plug in connector located ? or do I have to hard wire this?

Expert Reply:
For your 2012 Ford Explorer with the factory 7-way the harness you need to install a brake controller is the part # 3035-P.
We had a customer come back with a 2012 Ford Explorer and tell us he found the harness under the dash right next to the hood release level. Two screws and an odd plastic push on is all that hold the black plastic cover to gain access to the Explorers cables.
