Installing Trailer Brake Controller on a 2006 Ford F-150 with Factory Installed Brake Controller
Question:
I am about to remove my 06 Ford PU oem brake control and install the Prodigy 2 that I purchased from you last week. The oem brake control has two plug- ins at the rear. Do I remove both plug-ins?

According to our FAQ, which I have linked for reference, you only need to unplug the one connector that will be used with the Prodigy P2, # 90885. The plug that is needed will have matching wires with the brake controller adapter harness. The wiring should be labeled for function.
