Compatibility of Trailer Hitch on Pop-Up Camper Trailer
Question:
I have a popup trailer that I am wanting to tow another smaller trailer with an ATV behind on. Do you have any hitch options for a popup trailer and what would your recommendations be for this? Thanks.

Towing a trailer behind another trailer is prohibited in some states/provinces so I suggest checking with your local highway authorities first. You'll also want to contact the maker of the pop-up camper with the unit's VIN to find out if they approve of installing a hitch on it and what, if any, towing capacity it has. Of course, your 2008 Honda Odyssey also has to be rated appropriately for the total trailer load you are asking it to pull.
Our main page for hitches for RVs is linked for your reference. We offer both bumper-mount and frame-mount types with tongue weight ratings up to 500-lbs. The frame-mount hitches offer adjustable design that lets them fit trailer frames of varying widths.
