GM has stopped supplying a port for a brake controller several years ago, so you will need to splice the wires from the brake controller. The good news is that the wires are already run and are present under the dash, above the brake pedal. The wires will be bundled together, possible tied to another harness. If you pull them out, you should also notice a tag that indicates the function of each wire.
On the brake controller, the white wire is ground, the black wire is 12 volt power, the blue wire is brake controller output, and the red wire is for the brake signal. I have included a link to an FAQ article on installing a brake controller on your truck. After connecting the brake controller to the factory wiring and mounting the controller according to the instructions linked for reference, you may need to make some additional connections under the hood. For these connections, take a look at the Finalizing Connections for the Brake Controller section in the FAQ.
