Troubleshooting Trailer Lights After Installing Trailer Connector on 2005 Nissan Armada

Question:

I got the 3 relays and only found a spot for two of them now all the lights working except the left hand signal light and the left hand break light . I cant find where to plug the third relay no place for it under the hood or behind the driver side kick panel ...any idea where the third one should go ?

See the video I've linked of the relays # C57000. The video shows a trailer connector being installed on a 2005 Nissan Armada like yours.

If you skip ahead to about the 1:50 mark, you'll see the relays being installed. Your Armada will only use two relays, one blue and the brown. The other blue relay isn't used.

If you already have these installed correctly and the left-hand turn signal and brake light isn't working on your trailer, use a circuit tester, like # PTW2993, and test the pin in the 3 O'clock position on your new 7-way and see if it's getting power from the turn signal or brakes. If this checks out, then the issue is on the trailer.

If you don't get power on that pin check where you plugged the new harness in on the truck's wiring behind the rear bumper. make sure the pins here are good, clean, and not bent.

If you've checked this and still can't solve the issue let me know and we'll continue to troubleshoot.
