How Does UWS Replacement Lift Cylinder Install to Toolbox

Does the cylinder mount with a ball and socket, or is it a tab with about a 3/8th hole and a c clip. I think this isa PS180? What I have says lift-o-mat fsr40

I contacted our representative and she informed me that the Replacement Lift Cylinder for UWS Toolboxes, part # UWSLIFTCYLIND, mounts to a ball stud on the toolbox. The replacement lift cylinder snaps or pops on to the ball stud and does not use a tab or clip.

If you have a UWS Toolbox and need a replacement lift cylinder, it is recommended to use the UWS replacement parts. The other parts sound like different brand replacement parts.

Easiest way would be to start with the brand of tool box you have. If it's a UWS we have the part #UWSLIFTCYLIND which will fit it. But if it's a different brand we wouldn't be able to help.

I spoke with my contact at UWS and they said that the UWS Replacement Lift Cylinder, part #UWSLIFTCYLIND, will fit all of the UWS toolboxes. The name on the lifts could change if they switch to a different supplier.

Since you have a UWS tool box the only solution we have for a replacement shock/lift cylinder is the part #UWSLIFTCYLIND. We can't recommend a way to convert a DeeZee shock to fit a UWS tool box like you have.
