Do all 3,500 lb Trailer Axles Have the Same Bearings
Question:
Im installing brakes on a 3500lb axle for the first time trailer has never had brakes. I have backing plates but need to get bearings and brake hubs. pretty sure they are 5 on 5 pattern. I will double check before I order. Are the bearings all the same part numbers on all 3500lb axle? or will I need to tear mine apart to get numbers off the bearings I have now?

In almost all cases 3,500 lb axles will all use the same bearings. If your trailer has a Lippert or Dexter 3,500 lb axle then yeah they would be the same. But to be safe it won't hurt to pull them off and get the numbers.
If you are sure you need a 5 on 5 inch bolt pattern we have the part # AKHD-550-35-K which would work and fit the spindle. This hub uses bearing numbers L68149 and L44649.
I attached a help article on bolt patters for you to check out as well.
