Recommended Demco Highjacker Autoslide For 2017 Ram 3500 With Base Rails In Truck Bed
Question:
I have a 2015 Ram 2500 short bed, HEMI 5.7 Litter engine that has a 30092 Pro Slider mounted in it. I tow a 2016 Jayco Eagle 28.5 RSTS. i want to replace the hitch with a Demco Hijacker Autoslide. Will the Hijacker fit on my existing base rail or do I have to install new base rail and therefore drill new holes again? Do you have a dealer that can install it? I live in Tallahassee, FL. I would not mind driving around 200 miles to have it installed. Thanks

Expert Reply:
If the above-bed base rails that are installed in the bed of your 2017 Ram 3500 are standard base rails from B&W, Curt, Demco, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Husky, Reese, or Valley, then the Demco Hijacker Autoslide will work great for you.
We offer three models of the Hijacker that will work for you. If you need a 13,000-lb hitch I recommend part # DM8550040. For an 18,000-lb hitch you can use part # DM8550034, and for a 21,000-lb Hijacker I recommend part # DM8550035.
If you do not have a wiring harness in the bed of your truck I recommend part # 41157.
