Recommended Wiring Harness for a 2005 Ford Freestar
Question:
I have a 2005 Ford Freestar without factory tow package. I am in need of a kit to hook up a trailer with LED lighting. Do you carry such a product?

If you have a wiring harness that was installed by splicing into your 2005 Ford Freestar's wiring then that would be the problem. The owner's manual for your Freestar states not to splice into the wiring because it can cause malfunctions.
There are two options for you to install a wiring harness on your Ford Freestar without a factory tow package that does not involve splicing. To figure out which one you would need all you have to know is if your Freestar model has the plug behind the bumper or not.
If your Freestar does have the plug behind the bumper then we have the Curt T-Connector # C56673 that will give you a 4-Pole wiring harness.
If you have the Freestar model without the plug behind the bumper then I recommend going with the Tekonsha T-One Wiring Harness # C56673. This harness will also give you a 4-Pole wiring harness.
If you need a 7-way connector on your vehicle, I also recommend getting the Universal Installation Kit # ETBC7. This adapter will enable you to connect 7-Pole wiring harnesses to your Ford Freestar as well as 4-Pole wiring harnesses. It also has test lamps on it so that you can see if something isn't working correctly like a burned out bulb or a poor connection.
I attached some demonstration videos for you to view as well.
