Will B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Fit 2012 Ram 3500 with Factory or Dealer Gooseneck Hitch
Question:
Hello, I have a 2012 Dodge Ram 3500 Laramie with a factory installed gooseneck installed. Will this 5th wheel hitch work for this truck? Is everything I need included in the price? Thank you

The gooseneck hitch in a 2012 Ram 3500 would have likely been a dealer installed option and not a factory installed option. But regardless of which it is I would need to know the manufacturer of the hitch to determine if the Companion # BWRVK3500 will fit or if you will need something else. If it does end up being a B&W Turnover Ball gooseneck hitch then the Companion will fit and it does come with everything you would need to hook up and start using it.
Another option if you can't determine the gooseneck manufacturer is to use the Andersen Ranch Hitch # AM3100. I have linked a video review of it and the Companion for you.
The only other part you may be interested in adding is an in-bed 7-Way connector # 41157. This plugs in line with a bumper mounted 7-Way only you mount the connector in the bed making it easier to hook up the trailer without the need for an extension cable. I have linked a video showing how it installs.
