Tie-Down Straps to Secure Spare Tire on Shelf in Trailer
Question:
I am going to be using these straps to secure a spare tire in my Polaris Ranger. The tire is going to be stored upright on a raised cargo shelf above the bed of the Ranger. I plan to run one strap over the top of the tire and the other two straps will be preventing forward and aft movement. Will these straps be able to get tight enough to prevent the tire from moving while driving off-road, or should I stick with a ratchet style tie-downs strap?

I'm not sure how long the straps can be for your application exactly but the Bulldog Winch Cam Buckle Straps # BDW20303 measure about 28 inches at their shortest. If the length is short enough to tighten then these will work well because they're tough straps.
If they aren't going to work ratchet straps like the Erikson # EM31352 will work just fine for you as well
