Will the B&W Patriot 5th Wheel # BWRVK3200 Work with RBW Rails
Question:
I drive a 2008 Ford F250 Super Duty Crew Cab with the 6.4 L Diesel. I had a RBW Hitch and rails installed in 2008. I am looking at replacing the RBW 16000/4000 slide bar hitch with a BandW Patriot 16000/4000. My question is whether or not the Patriot will fit the rails used with the RBW Hitch. I am now pulling a Coachmen Chapparal 42foot that weighs around 12,500. Thoughts??

The B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # BWRVK3200 is designed to work with industry-standard, above-bed rails. If the RBW 5th-Wheel Hitch you currently have for your 2008 Ford F-250 is also designed to attach to industry-standard rails, then the B&W Hitch should work as well.
If your current RBW 5th-Wheel Hitch is not designed for industry-standard rails, then you can add the custom install kit and rails, part # BWRVK2400 for your 2008 Ford F-250.
You mentioned having an RBW slider hitch in your question. If you have a shorter 6-3/4 foot truck bed on your vehicle then I recommend staying with a hitch that has a slider to help with turning clearance while towing your trailer. The B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider 18K, part # BWRVK3270 has a built in slider and is also compatible with industry-standard, above-bed rails.
I have attached video reviews of both of these 5th-wheel trailer hitches for your review.
