Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2015 Toyota Yaris
Question:
Hello, year - 2015 make - Toyota model - Yaris version - 3 door Hatchback I'm looking to buy a hitch from etrailer.com. Under instructions, it says Fascia trimming required, what does that mean? It also says Drawbar and pin and clip sold separately, do ya'll sell these as well? Would you recommend buying the Curt Class I Receiver Hitch, if the Fascia trimming is too much work? Is the price difference worth it? Keep in mind I need to purchase other things like wiring and ball mount, maybe even brakes for trailer. Going to tow trailer. Thanks for your help.

For a newer vehicle like yours I would go with the Curt hitch part # C11480 which is a confirmed fit and does not require any fascia trimming. Any time you don't have to modify a new vehicle, I recommend going that route.
For ball mounts we have the part # C45572 for a 2 inch ball or the part # C45571 for 1-7/8 inch ball. Then for trailer wiring you woudl want the part # C56385 which is a confirmed fit.
Due to the light duty nature of your vehicle, I would not imagine that a trailer with brakes would be under the towing capacity of the vehicle. Marke sure to check this in the owner's manual.
