With the Reese Underbed Rail Kit # RP30868 the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Slider Hitch # BWRVK3370 will be the compatible hitch that I recommend. This is an excellent hitch that will keep the bed of your truck extremely clean when uninstalled and customized when installed. The hitch has rounded rails to allow it to slide smoothly.
Another option is to use the Reese Elite Series Underbed Rail Adapter for Standard 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches - 20,000 lbs, # RP30156, which will quickly give you removable rails that will fit any standard sliding hitch. I've attached a link to all of the sliding hitches for your 2012 GMC Sierra 2500 HD.
