Does the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Class III # 75371 for 2008 BMW X3 Require Drilling for Installation

2008 BMW X3 Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver Class III - 2 Its indicated that I need to drill. Is it the case ? Prefer this model than the other one available.

The Draw-Tite Class III Max Frame Receiver Hitch # 75371 does in fact require drilling during the installation process. You will need to drill two holes into the bumper in order to support the hitch at the middle bracket. I have provided a link to the installation instructions for this to give you a clearer idea of what this involves. The drilling steps are on page 2.
The other trailer hitch available for your 2008 BMW X3 is the Curt Class III # 13573 which does not require drilling. However with the Curt Class III Hitch, you would have to permanently remove the bumper beam on your vehicle.
