Adding Fuel Pressue to the Edge Insight CTS2 on 1988.5 Dodge Ram 2500 with 5.9 L Diesel
Question:
I have a 1998.5 dodge ram 2500 5.9 diesel, I have the insight cts installed to the obd11 connector and I have the pyro from the exhaust attached to the insight. Now I would like to add lift pump pressure at the injector vp44 pump to the insight if this is possible. I have installed an fass platinum lift pump that runs directly to the vp44 and all of these have been installed by the diesel shop. The truck has the edge EZ installed. Can I include fuel pressure to the insight cts and if so what do I need? I have a glow shift fuel pressure gage not yet installed but would rather use the insight if possible.

I checked with Edge about this to be sure. They confirmed that you'll need the EAS Universal Sensor Input # EP98605. To connect it you'll need the Pressure Sensor # EP98607. These are designed to work if you have the expandable probe already. If you don't, you'll also need # EP98602.
