Can a Brake Controller be Plugged into a 2008 Monaco Camelot RV

Question:

Monaco camelot 2008 pre wired for electric brake controller. Would like to order Tekonsha P3 with the proper wiring adpater. Monaco advised that the plug is 6 pin 5 wire Mole X plug-in. currently unable to view the plug vehicle in a different state

There isn't a vehicle specific brake controller wiring harness for your 2008 Monaco Camelot but installing a brake controller like the P3 # 90195 will still be pretty easy since you said the RV is pre-wired for a brake controller.

All you will have to do is hardwire the brake controller wiring to the wiring of that 5-wire plug you mentioned by function. The brake controller wires are white for ground, black for 12 volt power in, blue for power out to the brakes, and red for input from the brake switch.
