Question:
I a planning on ordering the etcb7 for my 06 toyota Tacoma, v6, 4wd. I have a 4 pin flat connector, do I also need a converter or is the etcb7 all I need.

Expert Reply:
If your existing 4-pole is a factory installed unit the signals are already converted, all you need is the brake controller and the # ETBC7 Brake Controller Installation kit.
If you do not already have a brake controller, I can highly recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P2, part # 90885. The P2 is very easy to use, which makes it our best selling brake controller.
