How to Locate the Stop Light Wire for a Brake Controller on a 1990 Ford E-350 Van or Motorhome

Where do I connect the Brake Light wire on a 1990 Ford E-350 with Anti-Lock brakes.

To find the correct wire, you will need a circuit tester like # PTW2993. Probe the wires on the brake switch located above the brake pedal. You are looking for the wire that carries a signal ONLY when the brake pedal is pressed. If the wire carries a signal at any other time, like when the vehicle lights are on or the turn signal is engaged, it is not the correct wire.
