The B&W Companion Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # BWRVK3500 requires an under-bed installation kit be mounted in the truck. If your 2016 Ford F-350 pickup is a longbed without factory rail kit then the B&W install kit you need for your Companion hitch is part # BWGNRK1111-5W. Both review and installation videos for this install kit are linked for your reference along with the written instructions. The Companion drops right into the gooseneck ball hole in the under-bed install kit.
If you also need a 5th wheel wiring harness for the bed of your F-350 you can use part # C56000, which is an easy plug-in installation.
