Type of Tonneau Cover That Best Resists Entry of Moisture
Question:
Is it water tight..will rain and water from car wash leak in around edges?

There is no tonneau cover made that is absolutely, positively 100-percent water tight under all circumstances and conditions. Water tends to find a place where it can flow and that will inevitably include even the tiniest gaps left after even the finest tonneau cover is installed correctly.
Anything that is rated to resist water - a wristwatch is a good example - is rated for a specific degree of resistance under specific conditions. A watch may be rated to handle the pressure equal to being motionless at 100-meters under the surface, but a person simply jumping off a high diving board into a pool could put that same pressure on the watch's gaskets in only a few feet of water.
The linked page displays all tonneau covers that fit your 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with 5-1/2-foot bed. Some of these install on top of the bed rails while other install inside them. I suggest you select a cover that mounts on top of the rails, such as the item you referenced or the TruXedo TruXport Soft, Roll-Up Tonneau # TX280601 Cover as this kind can offer slightly better resistance to moisture entry than the variety that fits inside the rails.
