How to Determine Towing Capacity 2003 GMC Envoy 4-Wheel Drive with 6 Cylinder 4.3L Engine

I have a 2003 GMC Envoy 4WD. Engine is a 4.3 inline 6 24 valve dohc. I was wondering what the max towing capacity would be...Thank you....

According to the research I conducted, there were 4 different models of the 2003 GMC Envoy with 4-wheel drive. Both the SLE and SLT have a towing capacity of 5,200 pounds, 6,200 with weight distribution.
The XL SLE and XL SLT models have a towing capacity of 4,800 pounds, 7,000 pounds when using weight distribution. All of the models seem to be rather capable vehicles. You should also be able to find the towing capacities of your specific vehicle in the owners manual.
