Recommended Transmission Cooler For 2013 Toyota Tacoma 4.0L V6 Engine

Question:

getting ready to add another transmission cooler. have a small one that was included with my tow package. should i replace it with the bigger one or just add the new one in line?

For your 2013 Toyota Tacoma, I recommend using the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit w/Barb Inlets - Class III - Efficient, # D13503. This is a plate fin transmission cooler that will increase the surface area of the heat exchanger so that fluids can spread out along the finned chambers to cool faster. It also features a turbulator technology that continuously agitates the fluids to facilitate heat transfer and prevent any undesirable drop in preassure. I recommend installing this in line with your current transmission cooler.
