Husky Brute Electric Trailer Jack - Drop Leg - A-Frame - 18" Lift - 4,500 lbs, # HT87247, has a built in ground through the unit itself to the trailer and connects to power via the wire. It has an inline circuit breaker that you can install that should keep any fuses from blowing. Since you are having an issue with the fuse, there is an issue somewhere in the circuit meaning there is either a broken wire or there is a faulty ground. I suggest using a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to test your system. When connecting the alligator clip to a clean ground, touch the probe to the metal surface of your jack. This will create a clean ground and you can test your switch to see if it works your jack without issue. If this solves the problem, you need to ensure you have a clean metal to metal connection for your trailer ground. If that doesn't solve your issue, run a separate 12V power line to give you uninterupted power and check for function. If that works, you have a section of wire between your battery and your trailer connector that is faulty and you will want to simply replace that wire so that you won't have more fuse issues and your jack can function properly.
