Recommended Hitch and Bike Rack for 2015 Mazda CX-5
Question:
I need a hitch and a bike rack for my Mazda cx-5. It is important that I have access to my gear in back. What do you recommend. In the summer, I will likely leave the bike rack on the vehicle as I go to the trail daily. Durability, quality and security are important to me. thx

I recommend using the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13315 hitch for your 2015 Mazda CX-5 because it features a 2" hitch receiver that allows you to use a wider variety of accessories than smaller 1-1/4" hitch.
In addition to the Curt Trailer Hitch, I recommend using the Yakima FullSwing 4 Bike Rack # Y02465. Not only can it hold up to 4 bikes, but it also includes a hitch lock and a bike lock for the added security you are looking for. This bike rack also has the tilting feature on it so that you can easily access the gear in the back of your vehicle while any bikes you have are still on the bike rack. If you go with this rack the only other thing you might need to get, depending on your bike's frame-style, is an adapter like part # Y02531 to ensure that your bike(s) have enough ground clearance.
I will link some demonstration videos for you here as well.
