What Are the Torque Ratings for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Installation Kit Rails for a 2010 Dodge Ram

not sure which model rails I have for 2010 ram 3500. removing rails to spray in a bedliner Line x and wonder what I should torque the rail bolts. I know it can vary but what is the typical range? Thank you

On your 2010 Dodge Ram 3500, there are several possible 5th wheel installation kits that you may have used, all have different torque ratings. For the 5th Wheel Installation Kit # RP30035-186. I have included a link to the installation details below. You will need to look at step 11 on page 3 for the torque rating for this kit.

If you used Curt 5th Wheel Installation Kit # C16420-204 (or -104), I have included those instructions as well. You will need to look at step 16 on page 3.

If you used Reese 5th Wheel Installation Kit # RP50140-58, you will need to look at the instructions linked below, step 16, page 3.

I spoke with my contact at Reese about spray-in bed liners and he stated that you will need to make sure you allow the liner to cure according to the bed liner manufacturer specifications before installing the 5th wheel rails.
