Flat towing requires a number of components including base plates, tow bar, a lighting/wiring kit, safety cables, a supplemental braking system and a high/low hitch adapter. Each of these is detailed in the linked articles on flat towing.
The Roadmaster base plates you referenced, part # RM-524431-5, are a confirmed fit as long as you do not have the Raptor version, but a better choice is the Blue Ox kit # BO74FR which features twist-lock draw bars. The others use hitch pins that can get lost so I suggest the Blue Ox base plates.
For a tow bar I suggest the Alpha # BX7380 which works great with the recommended base plates. This tow bar also includes the required safety cables, saving you that expense.
For a braking system you can use the Patriot # BLU37TR, which features wireless operation and which is fully portable. For lighting I suggest inexpensive magnetic lights # TL21RK which do not require cutting into the pickup's wiring and that take only moments to install.
