Will the Draw-Tite Hi Rise 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Adapter Fit a Pop Up 228 Gooseneck Hitch

Question:

I have a Pop Up Towing Model 228 flip over ball and was wondering if this fifth wheel would work with that. My 228 seems very similar to the under bed system recommended for this product. Running 2005 Chevy Silverado 2500HD with 8ft bed.

The Hi-Rise 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # 9480-5W has only been tested with and confirmed for B&W Turnover Ball, Draw-Tite Hide-A-Goose, and Bulldog underbed gooseneck trailer hitches. I can't confirm whether or not it will fit your hitch but there is another option.

No matter what brand the gooseneck is as long as it has a 2-5/16 inch ball you can use the Andersen Ranch Hitch # AM3100. I have linked a video review of it for you.
