Trailer Wiring Harness Compatible with 2015 Range Rover Evoque
Question:
I have a Curt hitch on my 2015 Evoque - do you know if the 2015 Evoque has a harness wiring connector for plug and play trailer wiring? Which trailer wiring do you recommend?

Expert Reply:
The trailer wiring harness to add a 4-way connector on your 2015 Land Rover Evoque is the Tekonsha ZCI Circuit Protected Wring Harness # 119250KIT.
The ZCI (Zero-Contact Interface) requires no cutting or splicing into your Land Rover's wiring. It bypasses the wiring system by clamping sensors onto the individual wires of the tail light harness that detect when power is running through the circuit. This way there is no tampering with your Evoque's system and there's no chance of feedback into the car.
If you need a ball mount as well you could go with the Curt Class III # C45036 which has a 2 inch drop, includes a 2 inch hitch ball, and a pin and clip.
