What Type of Tires to Use on Home-Built Off-Road Trailer

Question:

Im looking at the axle less system. On some of the descriptions it says for regularinch tires. Im not sure what that means. I want to buy the 2,000 lb with 4inch and 5 on 4 1/2 pattern. I will be using them to build an off-road trailer and want to match tow vehicles tires, which are 35x12.5x15 tires. I dont know if that works within the regularinch parameter. Please advise Thank you

The term regular tires when used in the context of Timbren axle-less suspension systems like # A20RS545 distinguishes this kit from one that can be used with off-road trailer wheels/tires, such as kit # ASR1THDS03.

Do please note that for a fabricated trailer you will want to use only trailer wheels and special trailer tires. Passenger vehicle wheels and tires are built differently and are not suitable for use on a trailer. Trailer wheels usually have different offset (the distance they will sit away from the trailer frame) and trailer tires are made with stiffer sidewalls to handle the vertical loads they will have to carry.

You can click on the link provided to see our range of trailer wheels, tires and wheel/tire combination items. Be sure to choose both based on the weight load they will be carrying. And always keep trailer tires fully-inflated to their maximum psi pressure as noted on the tire sidewall.
