Comparing 10 x 2-1/4-Inch Electric Drum Trailer Brakes from etrailer, Dexter & Hayes
Question:
Im looking at 3 of your 10inch x 2.25inch electric trailer break assemblies. Can you provide me what the differences are between the products? I have attached the part numbers for the items being referenced. AKEBRK-35L-SA 23-468 60202803 Thanks.

All three of the 10 x 2-1/4-inch electric drum trailer brakes you referenced are left-hand (driver's side) parts rated for a 3500-lb axle and use a 4-bolt mounting pattern. Parts # AKEBRK-35L-SA and # 23-468 are both the self-adjusting type while part # 60202803 from Hayes is a manual-adjust brake. By far the best value of the three is the etrailer self-adjusting brake # AKEBRK-35L-SA.
No matter which you ultimately choose be sure to select a matching right-hand brake such as # AKEBRK-35R-SA.
