Which EZ Flex System Replaces Dexter Equalizer 13-104 and will it Reduce Fender Clearance
Question:
I am looking to upgrade the suspension on my 2015 JayFlight 26RKS- It currently has dexter 13-104 equalizers and 4000lb axles. I have read posts that indicate the EZ FLEX reduce my wheel clearance by 1. Is this true?? I currently have 3inch of clearance above my wheels.

Helpful Expert Reply:
The EZ Flex Systems like the part # K71-652-00 which would work on your trailer with 13-104 equalizers will not reduce fender clearance. I believe you are thinking of a different system.
3 inches is the minimum fender to tire clearance recommended. Reducing that by an inch would most likely cause clearance issues. But that wouldn't be an issue for you with the EZ Flex.
