Kat's heater # KH11811 for a 2010 GMC Terrain with 3.0 liter motor installs in the block hole located at the right rear of the motor.
For the 2011 GMC Sierra 2500 it is going to depend on which motor is in it. If it is the 8.1 generation 3 or 4 motor then a heater will install either at the left rear or left front of the motor.
The 6.6 liter - right front
The 6.2 liter - left rear or left front
The 6.0 liter - left rear or left front
The 5.3 liter - left rear or left front
