Will Kuat NV Bike Rack Fit a 2016 Subaru Outback and Have Clearance to Fold Up

Question:

Hey guys seems like you probably know the answer...i want to buy this trailer hitch and plan on buying a kuat nv bike rack. is the hitch far out enough the the rack will have no rub issues or be able to lock in the vertical position when not in use? thanks in advance and hope you get back to me so i can pull the trigger on the cheap used one you have listed. i have a brand spanking new subaru outback 2017

When we installed the Curt trailer hitch part # C13206 on a 2017 Subaru Outback like yours we found that the hitch opening was right even with the rear edge of the bumper. So that means that a bike rack would easily fit the hitch and allow clearance to fold up.

So the Kuat NV 2.0 # NV22G that you are interested in would fit the hitch easily and would be able to fold up easily as well.

Check out the review video I attached that shows the Kuat being demoed on a 2017 Outback just like yours.
