We have just what you are looking for. The B and W Companion hitches like the part # BWRVK3400-5W are great because they install in a gooseneck hitch ball hole instead of into large rails that would obstruct the bed of your truck when not towing.

The part # BWRVK3400-5W is a slider hitch which is what your 2016 Ford F-250 short bed would need to give you the needed clearance to make tight turns.

The correct rail kit you would need is the part # BWGNRK1111-5W. What's nice about this route is that you if you ever need to tow a gooseneck hitch you can since the rail kit doubles as a gooseneck hitch.
