My 14 ft Lund is a salt water boat. How do these retractable straps stand up to the corrosive nature of salt water??

The steel body of the BoatBuckle G2 Retractable Ratcheting Gunwale Tie-Down Straps # IMF14221 has an anti-corrosive finish to help protect it from the corrosive effects of a salt water environment. It does not carry a specific salt spray rating, however. Like any boat or other marine equipment placed in salt water it should be fully rinsed with fresh water after each use.

You can use the included bolt to mount the ratchet directly to the trailer frame or cross member. If you need to angle the ratchet strap or move it a little farther off the frame, a universal mounting kit (part # IMF14254; sold separately) is available.
