Compatible Brake Controller and Wiring Harness on 2005 GMC Yukon
Question:
I have a GMC 2005 Yukon SLT with a tow package. I want to buy and install a Prodigy® P2 Electronic Brake Control, and use the 3015-P wiring adapter. Can I use the quick plug and play or do I have to hard wire and connect the wires under the hood by the fuse control box? Or is there another unit I could use without have to hard wire?

The Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller # 90885 is a confirmed fit for your 2005 GMC Yukon. It's one of the most popular brake controllers because of how easy it is to setup and to use. Using the # 3015-P wiring harness like you mentioned is definitely the way to go. It's a custom adapter that plugs directly into the junction box under the dashboard.
I've attached the installation instructions for you to take a look at.
