Can Reese Weight Distribution Brackets be Bolted to a Trailer Frame

I notice they have two square holes maybe for carriage bolts?

Yes, you can bolt on the weight distribution brackets from system # RP66542. They can also be welded on. If you do bolt them on you will need to provide your own hardware; grade 5 or better carriage bolts. Also one important tip I can offer is to make sure the brackets are in exactly the right place before drilling holes.
