Transmission Cooler Recommendation for 2007 GMC Yukon Denali
Question:
Thank you for your response and recommendation for the D13504 cooler. I watched the install video and I believe mine will be different. My guess is i remove the factory cooler and replace it with this one? ...or do I leave the factory one there and add this in addition? Will I need the D13035 fitting or extra hose? I will attach a somewhat okay picture of the fitting and existing cooler on the truck.

The transmission cooler part # D13504 would be exactly what you need. This is a large cooler that would work well for your 2007 GMC Yukon Denali. I attached an install video that shows it being installed in a very similar 2009 Yukon as yours.
Your engine temperature doesn't really seem that bad at all. But the transmission cooler will help slightly with that since it will allow the factory transmission cooler to run cooler as well which is connected to the radiator. Also the transmission bolts to the engine which would radiate heat to it so keeping it cooler will help in that context as well.
