Can 4-Bolt 5th Wheel Rails be Used with Custom Brackets on a 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500
Question:
Hi have a 16000 Reese slider hitch bought used, rails came with it I have a 2015 Chevy Silverado HD. I purchased the brackets that bolt to the frame I seem to run into a problem with the rails .. I think I know my answer but Im not sure, the bolt holes are in the middle not the edges I believe they will not work with my frame brackets unless I drill them correct

You have what are called 4-bolt rails and depending on which brackets you purchased for your 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500 you may or may not be able to use the rails you have with the new brackets. For example, brackets # RP50066, can be used for both a 10 bolt and 4 bolt installation. The 4 bolt instructions start on sheet 4 of 19 in the linked instructions.
For the hardware though you would need to use # RP30125 because the hardware by itself has been discontinued. So in this kit you would use the hardware but not the brackets.
