Will Bumper-Mounted 7-Way Remain Functional After Installing Hopkins 5th Wheel Harness 41157
Question:
why are they two plugs at the end of the harness and will i still be able to use my existing bumper mounted plug to plug in my boat trailer. thanks.

The reason that Hopkins Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness # 41157 has two round connectors is that it will install in between your existing 7-way socket and the connector that plugs into the back of it. The harness's two connectors simply plug in between the truck's wiring and the bumper-mounted 7-way socket.
This allows both of the 7-way sockets to remain active at the same time.
