Question:
Hi, I need some technical advice. I installed a drawtite hitch on a 2005 BMW X5. 75492 The nutsert which I installed in the cross member has slipped and I can neither tighten nor loosen the bolt which anchors to the cross member. I can drill more holes, weld, or other?? Suggestions please. I can email photos if requested. thanks

You are going to have to find a way to hold the nutsert so that you can remove the bolt and try again. It's a pretty tricky situation getting that bolt setup right but you have to do it just like the install instructions and video show.
If you push hard enough on the hitch up into the nutsert you should be able to get the hitch to hold it tight enough to the frame to prevent it from moving so that you could remove the bolt.
