Why Would Replacement B and W Companion Head Seem Too Wide at Pivot Arms For Install
Question:
We are installing a bandw 20k gooseneck conversion to 5thwheel hitch.It appears the pivot arms are wider than they should be where it goes into th wheel by a few inches..???stumped we have read and reread directions and watched the video.please help Thank you

I spoke with my contact at Blue Ox and he informed me that based on what you described it is possible that you received the coupler head for the Patriot and not the Companion like you need. He asked me to have you double check that you see the part number RVC3006 on the box that the head came in. Our part number for this is # BWRVC3006.
If the box has the part number RVC3200 you have the Patriot head. Our part number for this is the part # BWRVC3200.
If not email us back with a picture so that we can take a look at what you have going on.
