Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2010 Ford Fusion for Towing Small Trailer
Question:
Currently towing my Aluma 638 single axle utility, 390 lbs, with another vehicle. Am looking to put a hitch on my 2010 Fusion to occasionally pull this trailer. Trailer gross is 2000, never pulled anywhere near it. Shouldnt be an issue with Fusion? Thanks

The Draw Tite hitch part # 24865 is a confirmed fit for your 2010 Ford Fusion and has a 2,000 lb total trailer weight capacity. This would be more than enough for a 390 lb trailer. Unless there are restrictions in the owners manual of your vehicle on towing this hitch would be a great solution.
I attached an install video for you to check out as well.
The recommended ball mount but for the Draw-Tite Hitch is # 3594. For a ball you can use # 19256 (1-7/8 inch diameter) or # 19258 (2 inch diameter). For trailer wiring, you will need T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4 Pole Trailer Connector, # 118422
