Adapter Recommendation to Use Kids Bike with Swagman Original Bike Rack

Question:

We have two kids bikes that need to fit on this rack. The Yakima one we have now is too wide and wont fit. Can you tell me the minimum distance needed between the seat post and bottom of the V shape near the handlebars.

To fit a small kids bike on a bike rack like the Swagman Original part # S64400 will require the use of an adapter bar like part # UB01 most likely.

This adapter attaches to the seat post and steering stem of a bike to provide a horizontal attachment point up higher which allows the rack to not have interference with the smaller frame.
