Can Curt RV Trailer Hitch be Installed to Welded On Tube Extensions on a 2015 Crusader
Question:
i have a 2015 crusader by forest river the box tubing from the bumper is welded to an i beam above the box tubing is about 18 inches long if i order the 13703 will i be using the box tubing or the i beam

Ideally you would use the I-beam part of the trailer frame to mount Curt trailer hitch # 13703. Welded on extensions like the box tube part are often not strong enough to properly support a trailer hitch. I have included a link to the installation instructions for this hitch and a video showing one of the ways this hitch can be installed.
