To install a 7-way connector on the back of your vehicle you will first need to install a 4-flat connector and then use the Brake Controller 7 & 4 Way Installation Kit, # ETBC7, to hardwire a 7-way connector to the your vehicle.

If you have the full size 1994 GMC Jimmy you will need to install the Curt T-One Wiring Harness, # C58044. This will give you a 4-flat trailer connector at the rear of your vehicle.

If you have the smaller 1994 GMC S-15 Jimmy you will need to use the Draw-Tite Wiring Harness, # 18252, you have referenced. It will give you a 4-flat trailer connector at the rear of your vehicle.

The # ETBC7 Installation Kit, comes with a new 7-Way and 4-Way connector which will plug into the 4-flat trailer connector on the back of your vehicle. The 4 remaining wires will be hardwired to the vehicle. I am sending a link to detailed instructions on how to install the # ETBC7 kit on your vehicle. It will show where the four remaining wires will connect.

I am sending a video link that will show a brake controller and the # ETBC7 kit being installed on a 1993 Chevy Suburban. The vehicle is different but the wiring principle is the same.

The hitch I would recommend for your full size 1994 GMC Jimmy is the Draw-Tite Class III Hitch, # 41511. It has a 6,000 lbs. towing capacity and a 600 lbs. tongue weight capacity.

If you have the 1994 GMC S-15 Jimmy the hitch you will need is the Draw-Tite Class III Hitch, # 13083. It has a 5,000 lbs. towing capacity and a 500 lbs. tongue weight capacity.
